Brioche French Toast


Cup4Cup Brioche, cut in ¾-inch thick slices

4 large eggs

¼ cup milk

¼ cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom (optional

2 bananas sliced

¼ cup peanut butter

Maple syrup


1. In a small bowl combine the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and cardamom. Pour this mixture into a shallow dish, such as a pie plate.

2. Dip both sides of brioche slices into the egg mixture.

3. Fry slices on a greased and preheated griddle until golden brown. Then flip and cook on the other side until golden brown.

4. Serve topped with sliced banana, peanut butter and maple syrup.
